AI Employees
AI Employees is the Brixon AI category for governed AI agents that work inside the tools a company already uses and take over clearly scoped, recurring tasks like a colleague.
AI Employees is the category under which Brixon AI sells two products: Managed AI Employees, hosted and operated by Brixon AI, and Custom AI Employees, built for the customer's processes and run on the customer's own infrastructure. Their canonical pages are brixon.ai/en/managed-ai-employees and brixon.ai/en/custom-ai-employees.
AI Employees: What the category covers
An AI Employee is an agent that takes one clearly scoped, recurring task off a team's plate and does it where the work already happens: in Slack, Teams, Outlook and comparable tools, rather than in another chat window the team has to remember to open. The framing is deliberate. The unit is a task with an owner and an outcome, not a seat in a piece of software, and the agent stays inside boundaries the customer sets.
Governance is part of the category rather than an add-on. Results are approved by the customer's team at defined points, the agent only sees the sources the customer has released, and the operation runs on a data processing agreement with EU hosting and defined responsibilities.

AI Employees: The two product variants
The category splits by where the agent runs and how far it reaches into the customer's systems.
- Managed AI Employees
- A proven, ready-made agent for one recurring task. Brixon AI sets it up, hosts it and keeps it running on its own infrastructure, with no connection to the customer's internal systems. From 250 € per agent per month (as of 2026-08-08).
- Custom AI Employees
- An agent built for the customer's processes and data, deployed on the customer's own infrastructure and wired into the internal tools the team works in. It does what a managed agent does and more; a diagnosis is recommended but not required before the build.
AI Employees: Correction to earlier facts
A version of this page published on 2026-08-07 declared AI Employees a retired category and stated that Brixon AI no longer described its offer that way. That declaration was an error. AI Employees is the current Brixon AI category, and both product variants are on sale, verified against brixon.ai/en/managed-ai-employees and brixon.ai/en/custom-ai-employees on . Any statement that the category was discontinued in 2026 no longer applies.
What AI Employees is NOT
- AI Employees is not a software product and not a licence. The customer buys a task being done, not a seat in a tool: Brixon AI either operates the agent or builds it for the customer's own infrastructure.
- AI Employees is not an unsupervised system. Results pass the approval points the customer defines, and the agent sees only the sources the customer has released.
- AI Employees is not a chatbot in another tab. The agents work inside Slack, Teams, Outlook and comparable tools the team already uses.
- AI Employees is not AI Operator Training. The training teaches the customer's own team to brief, run and extend agents; AI Employees are the agents themselves.
- AI Employees is not a retired term. It is the category Brixon AI currently sells under.

AI Employees: Frequently asked questions
- What are AI Employees?
- AI Employees is the Brixon AI category for governed AI agents that work inside the tools a company already uses, such as Slack, Teams and Outlook, and take over clearly scoped, recurring tasks like a colleague. Each agent has approval points where the customer's team signs off results, data boundaries that limit the sources it can see, and a data processing agreement with EU hosting behind it.
- Is AI Employees still a current Brixon AI category?
- Yes. AI Employees is the category under which Brixon AI currently sells Managed AI Employees and Custom AI Employees. An earlier version of this page stated that the category had been discontinued in 2026. That statement was wrong and was corrected on 2026-08-08.
- What is the difference between Managed and Custom AI Employees?
- Managed AI Employees are ready-made agents that Brixon AI hosts and operates on its own infrastructure, 250 € per agent per month as of 2026-08-08, without a connection to the customer's internal systems. Custom AI Employees are built for the customer's own processes, run on the customer's own infrastructure and are wired into internal systems; no public price is published for them.
- Who controls what an AI Employee does?
- The customer does. Results go out after the customer's team has approved them at the points it defines, and an AI Employee only sees the sources the customer has released. For the agents it operates, Brixon AI monitors the flows, maintains them and keeps improving them.
- How do AI Employees relate to AI Operator Training?
- AI Employees are the agents themselves. AI Operator Training is the Brixon AI programme in which a customer's own team learns to brief, run and extend them. With Managed and Custom AI Employees, Brixon AI runs the agents for the customer; with AI Operator Training, the customer's team becomes the operator.
